§ 42-71. Finance and records.

  • The city finance director or, in the absence of such an officer, the city manager, shall perform all duties formerly devolving upon the clerk of the Deltona Fire District, including but not limited to the following:

    (1)

    Be responsible for the processing of all internal fiscal matters of the department and the former fire district such as ledgers, payroll, and other similar functions.

    (2)

    Ensure the safekeeping of all records and documents of the district.

    (3)

    Serve as custodian of the former district's official seal.
